Kali tsiknopemti me xioni!!!Some of you know that my wife is Greek.The Greeks love meat. They also love to grill.Today is the special day to grill and smell the scent of smoke. (there are LOTS of Greek special days!)So I cooked some homemade burgers on the grill...come rain or snow!We are thankful for our heritage and love to celebrate the traditions that connect us across the oceans.What do you do to celebrate your family heritage?

I’m an old dude. Sorta. A young friend of mine this morning told me that he’s going to be OK because he knows old guys like me are still out there and we’re super fast.We both love cycling!You see, he just had a baby and realized that he doesn’t get much sleep, no time for exercise, always one more thing to do, and he’s seeing a part of his life slipping away. I was humbled when he realized that even as he sacrifices now that he will still be able to achieve his dreams and actually become more in the future through his sacrifice. It felt great to know that someone else is watching and that my example has blessed him with peace.I’m glad that I’m doing my best to become every day.
