Jeremy Clarkson delivered a blunt response to his co-star Kaleb Cooper after the farmer made a comment about Lisa Hogan.

The ex-Top Gear host and current face of Amazon Prime's Clarkson's Farm was not in the mood for jokes as he celebrated Lisa turning 51 with an affectionate post on Instagram.

"Birthday girl," Jeremy captioned a charming photo of Lisa donning a top hat and flashing a radiant smile at the camera. While tributes poured in from all corners, including friends and admirers, it was Kaleb's comment that caught Jeremy's eye.

"Now the question is did Lisa like my singing this morning happy birthday," teased the 25-year-old farmhand, punctuating his remark with a laughing emoji. Jeremy, 64, issued a response straight to the point as he simply replied: "No".

However, Lisa herself joined the conversation, playfully praising Kaleb's vocal efforts. She remarked that she "adored all perfectly sung first five words", further commenting: "I really did, t'was perfection.", reports the Mirror.

Jeremy refrained from adding any further comments or backing up Lisa's playful banter with Kaleb. But the exchange wasn't the only thing fans noticed.

Eager followers of the popular Amazon show had another agenda, flooding the birthday post with pleas for Jeremy to propose to Lisa. Comments ranged from direct orders including: "When are you gonna propose."

Another demanded: "Marry her for crying out loud" as a third echoed: "Marry that woman. She is stunning and has such a good personality."

Someone else chimed in: "Better put a ring on it! Happy Birthday Lisa." Meanwhile, another quipped: "The council has approved marriage. You need to walk this woman down the aisle."

Viewers were thrilled as Jeremy pulled off a surprise for his Irish model girlfriend in the latest episode of Clarkson's Farm. He romantically led Lisa through the fields, playfully hinting: "I've got a big surprise for you."

With a mix of curiosity and hope, Lisa replied: "Ah, is it a proposal? Every time you say you've got a surprise I think 'he's going to propose'. Every time."

The couple's relationship has been a focal point in the popular farm documentary series, which has been on air since 2021. Their relationship began in 2017 after they were introduced through mutual friends at a party.
