Clarkson's Farm fans have been left delighted after Lisa Hogan shared a health update about fan-favourite Gerald Cooper. The TV star was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer last year.

Viewers were left devastated after Jeremy Clarkson found out that Gerald had been diagnosed with his illness during the third series. However, his girlfriend Lisa has given fans a new update surrounding his condition.

She shared a sweet video of Gerald alongside Kaleb Cooper, 25, which showed the pair on a "family trip" in Oxfordshire. The younger Cooper quips in the backseat: "Can I have the window up now, please? I'm cold. Are we there yet? Can we have the air-con on?"

Lisa then leans forward with her camera and asks Gerald: "Dad, can you please control your son!" Gerald then lets out a laugh as the video comes to an end.

The highly anticipated third series of Clarkson's Farm landed on Amazon Prime last month, with Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa and Kaleb Cooper all returning. However, Gerald played a smaller role due to his cancer diagnosis.

One person commented on Lisa's video: "We met Gerald’s lovely daughter in the shop when we visited. Wishing you welll Gerald x." Another also chimed in: "The funniest people glad your doing well Gerald."

By the time the third season came to an end, Gerald had completed numerous radiotherapy sessions and Clarkson revealed that he had "beat the big C".

During the closing segment, the Diddly Squat gang raised a glass to Gerald. The 76-year-old said: "I would like to thank everybody, all of the film crew and all my friends here. All of you have been so kind to me and my family. So thank you very much."

The hit series centres around Jeremy getting to grips with his Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton, with farmers such as Kaleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland and Gerald all now household names.

The third season showcased plenty of "trials and tribulations" in the unexpected world of British farming, such as crop failure, severe inflation and Jeremy's hopes for his beloved restaurant being dashed.

Series four of Clarkson's Farm is currently being filmed, although Jeremy Clarkson ran into a problem when he spotted a huge drone hovering over his land. This meant that the cameras had to stop rolling and he ranted to his eight million followers online.

Posting on Instagram of the helicopter route, Jeremy said: "Filming paused till this f**kt**d buggers off." The image he attached unveiled that the helicopter was privately owned.

Clarkson's Farm can be streamed on Amazon Prime.
