(Nan) Peacefully, at Morriston Hospital, aged 85. Mona was a beautiful caring soul, and proud woman of Ystradgynlais. Loving sister of the late Eunice Eileen Brown and aunt of the late Christopher Michael Brown. She is survived by her two great-nephews, Kieran and Corey. She was also a loving dog mum to three handsome pups over the years, Tinker, Max and Macko. Mona was a larger than life personality of the Ravenhill, Fforestfach and Swansea community, and would help anyone who asked, within her capability. She was a huge advocate for equality, love and passion, as well as anything to do with Daniel O'Donnell. Mona will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mousy Dad passed away on 10th May 2024 after some years of ill health. Dad was the most loving man I know and was always there for us in spirit even if he couldn’t be in person. He was strong and courageous and fought his illness with strength. I know dad hid away from most when his health started deteriorating but he often talked about his stories of adventure and life over the years and the people he shared these with. Dad’s funeral will be held at Llandeilo Church on Tuesday 28th May at 11 am and it would be wonderful if those that shared his life with us could come and say goodbye. If you shared an adventure with him, or a pint at the local pubs over the years, I’m sure he’d like to see you all one last time. Dad was a private man who the last few years kept to himself through pride and ill health but that doesn’t mean he didn’t think of everyone at times. A Llandeilo local and his heart at home.
