Obituaries 18, 2018 Michael Thomason March 26, 1955 February 18, 2018 Michael Thomason, 62, resident of Guthrie, passed away Mike was born March 26, 1955, in Shawnee. Throughout his life, Mike worked on an oil rig, was a police officer, a truck driver, a coal miner, and an equipment operator. He was a man of many talents. His hobbies included fishing. building hot rods, metal working, playing bass guitar, a and yard work.
Mike was an avid OSU football, Chicago Bears, and Guthrie Bluejays fan. It was his He loved his family first and foremost, football season, racing season, and fishing season. Mike played bass guitar and has rebuilt several race cars. He loved drag racing, especially with his sons. Mike enjoyed going to any activity that his grandchildren were involved in and greatly admired that his grandchildren were being raised with a lot of the same values that he instilled in his children.
Mike is survived by his wife, Valerie: children, Talisha Thomason Wilcox of Bixby, Travis Thomason of Guthrie. Keith Thomason of Coyle. Waylon Thomason and wife Hayley and husband Jimmy of Edmond, Adrian Walder and wife Shannon Doolittle and husband Daniel of Guthrie: 11 grandchildren; as well as a host of other Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday.
