So much confusion on work ethic in the world 🌎… If you love what you do professionally and it feels like a hobby then you’re one of the lucky ones.. keep moving!Layer real patience, aka knowing it will take a long time and you’ve got a winning formula.enjoyment of your work not the outcomes of your work needs to be the goal.

So true. Even the people who make it look easy or glamorous are actually putting in the work and the extra hours to get ahead and get it done. We just don't always see it. The road to success looks vastly different for everyone, but the work it takes to achieve that success is always constant. And when you are passionate and committed to the endeavor, it's not work..it's just part of the journey and story. You do it better than anyone else because you love doing it.

I completely agree with Gary. Building something meaningful takes a ton of hard work, whether it's in parenting, business, or any other aspect of life. It’s not always easy, but it’strue that if you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. That passion is what fuels the effort and makes the journey worthwhile.Another perspective I'd add is the importance of balance. While work ethic is crucial, so is taking care of yourself along the way. Burnout is real, and even if you love what you do, it's essential to recharge and maintain your health and well-being. This helps sustain that energy and passion in the long run.Patience is key. It’s about enjoying the process, not just the outcome. When we find joy in the daily grind, we’re not just working towards a goal; we’re living a fulfilling life.

"enjoyment of your work not the outcomes of your work needs to be the goal"-I would disagree with Gary a bit on "outcomes"-he seems to be saying that enjoyment needs to come 1st before outcomes but...Life has to have outcomes, Work has to have outcomes, Money has to have outcomes, Goals$$ have to have outcomes-Outcomes are the genesis of work output that we perform daily-was in straight commission Real Estate Sales many years-Bottom line I had to make $$$ or the Business would Die-obviously enjoyed working with people but...This was a Business and not a hobby- consistent $$$ or No business-Outcomes=Money

This is true. So true. But think about what this means. For you specifically. If others are not willing to put in the effort, and this does mean hours, you are not going to have that much competition. The more people buy into this idea of “I don’t need to work hard” it means there are less people on the same path or road or highway or whatever you want to call it, to success. Think about it as if you were a football player. And then 90% of the talent out there decides I’m not going to work hard. But you decide even to work your tail off. That means you are automatically in the top 10% just by doing the work. You already have a Head start. I explain this to people in the leadership Academy all the time. Don’t buy into this idea of not working hard. It’s a trap. Someone made this up. And is selling it for free and it’s worth what you pay for it.

Let's be honest, not everyone can do what they love. They simply might not be able to afford to. But even if it's just a hobby. Do it to stay balanced and keep at it until you can move onto something you enjoy. And if you have fewer* responsibilities (ie. have no kids, etc.) take advantage of that. It's easier to put in more time and take bigger risks. But again, it will still take work. Learn to be patient.

I love doing what I do, I don't like the part that feels like fly fishing...the bait, the wait, the call backs. Feels like an audition. LOL. I LOVE the interaction part and getting great results for clients:- 33% increase in sales in 10 days- 900% fee increase in 9 months - 258.9% increase in online salesTHAT’s what I get excited about.Email nurture sequence, not so much.I have massive credentials:Worked on Fortune 500 brands, launched Stuart Weitzman brand, launched Praxis Biologics (Dr. David Smith’s HIB vaccine), and a number of other luxury brands. International award-winning designer/creative director, blah, blah, blah. We’re all in one pond. One thing is for sure, I am a damn good parent.Even my 33-year-old daughter and 24-year-old son think I should teach people how to parent. And they aren't blowing smoke.

Simplicity - When you sell, think about this - When you post, think about this - When you live, think about this.. It takes time to build a real community.. And there is only one way to do it.. And that's by giving more to the community than you want from them.

I see plenty of wonderful things from the work from home model.. work-life balance, people are seeing their kids more, I like a lot about it.. On the flip side, it is very clear to me that the employees that are in the office are winning on the biggest thing — it's called osmosis. The osmosis you get from learning from senior people and people around you.. it's profound.. I know a lot of companies and employees are trying to figure out how to balance in office/ remote … pros and cons to so many of the sides .. but man .. the osmosis to learn and the efficiencies of learning and getting certain things done really plays out so differently in person then on zoom and slack .. interesting times ahead for ceos and employees as we all figure it “out”hope this hits for some leaders !

No excuses!!!! It’s out there for you …. Even the most extreme examples of being able to start with little are being executed out there … I know y’all can do it … don’t let anyone tell you otherwise … the people and energies around you that are saying “No” “You cant” “it won’t happen” are projecting… believe in yourself and put in the work, deploy the humility and the patience ..no more excuses, there’s always a way to be creative and get sh*t done! you can do that sh*t !! Just start

How can you value “their” judgment when they don’t even know you …insecurities are so illogical …don’t allow yours to value other people’s opinions who don’t have the full picture ..instead of valuing their opinions start by putting that energy into loving yourself ❣️❣️❣️..cause remember, every other person on earth has shortcomings too!

Don’t demonize technology just for the sake of it, remember, before technology plenty of things were “f*cked up” we’ve become lazy in our judgment. And not accountable.. we blame too much on “new” and don’t pay attention closing to the “past” .. over time we romance the past when confronted with new technology.. remember that and it will maybe lead to a big opportunity for all of you 💛💛💛💛💛Would you buy food that had a.i. generated images? 🍔Comment Below 👇

Effective social media strategies aren’t built overnight. They take patience, humility, and an abundance of empathy. You have to give something back to your community, find value in providing entertainment or information –you have to give something of value in exchange for the time that you’re taking away.

This is for the leaders and future leaders out there … I hope this really “hits” for some .. too many don’t realize real time and real elimination of fear are at the core of a great culture and a great culture creates great companies.. for many of you, you have less than 20 employees… you should be able to ace this .. share this with someone who owns a business or has a large team
