MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Mount Pleasant Police Department was dispatched to a funeral home for a fight with 150 people present, and a man brandishing a gun, on Saturday, June 1.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. at a funeral home near 1st and Meachem.

Police say while responding to the scene, another caller stated that someone had started shooting.

“We need more squads here. Send every squad we have available. We have about 50 people," Mt. Pleasant police officers can be heard saying, via Broadcastify.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses and arrested the man that brandished the gun.

"I think we got one guy detained. He was with a gun. We can watch the video and see if other people still know they’re out there," one officer said.

After further investigation, police say four others were arrested for the involvement with the fight and melee inside the funeral home.

The South Shore Fire Department arrived on scene and transported one of the individuals that was in custody due to a medical emergency. He was medically cleared and transported to the Racine County Jail, according to police.

Police say it is an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public.
